Following up with the Kick Off meeting on September 25, the technical work for triangular cooperation between Argentina, Colombia and the European Union began on October 9. In November 2016, the project "Search, location and identification of missing persons" began.

Today the triangular alliance Argentina, Colombia, EU; seeks to strengthen the technical capacities of the Genetic Profiles of Disappeared Colombia Banks (Legal Medicine, Prosecutor's Office and Police) and the National Genetic Data Bank of Argentina, through the generation of knowledge networks focused on quality management components for forensic laboratories, in accordance with each national development; the taking and processing of biological samples of recovered bodies and reference relatives and, finally, the search and memory processes of each of the countries, in support of the work with groups of relatives who are victims of conflicts.
