Brussels, 10th October 2023 - Meeting between Argentina and the European Union to strengthen cooperation on health issues.

 

Officials from the Argentine Embassy to the European Union met with the authorities of DG HERA (Health Emergency Preparedness and Response) of the European Commission in a meeting to address the deepening of cooperation in health matters between Argentina and the European Union.

 

During the meeting, both parties discussed strategies and measures to enhance collaboration on health issues, following the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and in response to other global health situations that demand joint and coordinated action.

 

The HERA authorities noted that they consider Argentina a reliable partner with whom to advance cooperation projects in the areas of health emergency preparedness and response, as well as in relation to essential medical supplies such as personal protective equipment, medical supplies, and vaccines.
