Brussels, 29th August 2023 - Ambassador Atilio Berardi had the honor of receiving a courtesy visit at the Argentine Embassy in Brussels from the Ambassador-designate of Indonesia to Argentina, Sulaiman Syarif, who currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Indonesia in Brussels.

 

This protocolary meeting took place before Ambassador Syarif assumes his new responsibilities in Buenos Aires. During the meeting, the diplomats discussed bilateral issues that reflect both nations' ongoing commitment to strengthening ties and promoting cooperation. The multilateral agenda, particularly the G20, was a central topic of discussion, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration in addressing global challenges.

 

The dialogue also focused on the trade sphere, where both parties expressed their interest in exploring new opportunities to boost economic exchange between Argentina and Indonesia, highlighting the relevance of Argentine exports for food security in Indonesia.
