Brussels, 30th August 2023 - In an effort to strengthen relations and explore strategic collaborations, officials from the Argentine Embassy to the European Union and the Argentine Embassy to Belgium held a meeting with representatives from Hydrogen Europe.
The meeting aimed at exchanging views and exploring cooperation opportunities in the promising field of hydrogen. Additionally, it sought to gather more details about the upcoming 'EU Hydrogen Week.'
The meeting was a step towards seeking synergies between Argentina and Hydrogen Europe, highlighting mutual interest in advancing sustainable and clean energy solutions. During the meeting, Argentine officials and representatives from Hydrogen Europe shared their perspectives on the future of the green hydrogen sector as a source of energy.
Both sides recognized the importance of hydrogen in the transition to a low-carbon economy and discussed possible opportunities to collaborate on projects related to hydrogen technologies, innovation, and sustainable development.
Furthermore, representatives from the Argentine Embassy expressed a keen interest in obtaining more details about the upcoming EU Hydrogen Week. This thematic week, organized by the European Commission, serves as a key platform for knowledge exchange and the promotion of hydrogen as a clean and versatile energy source. Argentina expressed its desire to actively participate in this event and contribute to the global discussion on the role of hydrogen in mitigating climate change.
Additionally, representatives from Hydrogen Europe, as co-organizers alongside the European Commission of the Hydrogen Week, provided further details about the event, which will take place in Brussels from November 20 to 24.
