Brussels, 29th February 2024 - The Argentine Embassy to the European Union participated in a meeting with authorities of the European Union and Latin American Embassies to discuss and exchange views on the next steps for PAcCTO 2.0, which represents the main programme of birregional cooperation in the fight against transnational organised crime.

 

This dialogue is a cornerstone of the #TeamEurope initiative, which promotes unity and cooperation between Europe and Latin America to face shared security challenges. The meeting has laid the groundwork for future actions and strategies aimed at consolidating transatlantic dialogue in the prevention and fight against organised crime, seeking to strengthen institutions and the rule of law in both regions.

 

The PAcCTO 2.0 programme, continuing the commitment and achievements of the original PAcCTO, fosters judicial and police cooperation between the countries of both regions in the fight against organised crime.
