Brussels, 10th July 2023 - Ambassador Atilio Berardi was received by the Ambassador of Ecuador, Hernán Ponce Aray, to strengthen bilateral cooperation and prepare for the upcoming CELAC-UE Summit.
Ambassador Atilio Berardi met today at the Embassy of Ecuador to Belgium and Luxembourg with Ambassador Hernán Ponce Aray. During the meeting, both diplomats exchanged perspectives on the intensive work agenda that both embassies will carry out this year, and in particular, they discussed the preparations for the upcoming Summit between the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and the European Union (EU).
The meeting between Ambassador Berardi and Ambassador Ponce Aray reflected the commitment of both nations to strengthen bilateral and regional cooperation. The diplomats highlighted the importance of working together to promote common interests and address the challenges faced by their respective regions.
During the meeting, they thoroughly reviewed the work agenda that both embassies will develop throughout the year, identifying priority areas for bilateral cooperation.
