On Tuesday 26 June, Jorge TODESCA, Director of the National EUROSTAT of Statistics and Census of Argentina (INDEC), visited the European Statistical Office (EUROSTAT) office in Luxembourg. He was accompanied by INDEC Dissemination Director, Silvina VIAZZI,  INDEC Statistical Planning and Coordination Director, Hernán MUÑOZ, and an official from the Economic & Trade Section at the Mission of Argentina to the European Union.

The Argentinian delegation was warmly welcomed by Pieter EVERAERS, Director of Cooperation with the European Statistical System, International Cooperation and Resources, by Silke STAPEL-WEBER, Director of National Accounts, Price Statistics and Key Indicators, as well as by other senior EUROSTAT officials.

Meetings held at EUROSTAT not only aimed at facilitating dialogue and exchange of technical information between institutions, but also laid the groundwork for the future meetings in which to discuss and coordinate further activities and projects.
