The Administrative Arrangmeent establishes a scheme that will facilitate the dialogue and the exchange of technical and scientific information, as well as the organization of meetings to discuss and coordinate different activities and project.
Jorge Horacio Dillon, President of the National Service of Agri-Food Health and Quality (SENASA) and the Director General of Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) of the European Commission, Xavier Prats Monné, signed an "Administrative Arrangement on Technical Cooperation in Animal Welfare". During the meeting, the President of SENASA was accompanied by the Ambassador of Argentina to the European Union (EU), Mario Raúl Verón Guerra.
This agreement expresses the commitment of both parties to strengthen cooperation on Animal Welfare and to exchange approaches and objectives in line with international standards of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE).
It establishes a scheme that will facilitate dialogue and the exchange of technical and scientific information, as well as the organization of meetings to discuss and coordinate different activities and projects. In addition, it shows Argentina's commitment to the quality of its food and the confidence of its trading partners.
