Strasbourg, 13th September 2023 - Argentina's Ambassador to the European Union, Atilio Berardi, held a meeting with Inmaculada Rodríguez-Piñero at the European Parliament headquarters in Strasbourg.

 

During this meeting, strategies and joint work plans were discussed with the aim of further strengthening Argentina's bilateral relationship with the European Parliament in the realm of parliamentary diplomacy and regional dialogues.

 

Both representatives underscored the commitment of both parties to enhancing relations between the European Union and Latin America. The meeting served as a platform to explore opportunities for collaboration on issues of mutual interest, such as the ties between the European Union and Mercosur and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).

 

Member Inmaculada Rodríguez-Piñero plays a particularly significant role in the dynamics of the European Parliament as the President of the Conference of Delegation Chairs.

 

The meeting between Ambassador Berardi and the representative from the EU's Lower House reflects Argentina's commitment to promoting understanding and cooperation through these channels.

 

The Argentine Embassy to the European Union will continue to actively work to strengthen ties between Argentina and the European Union, aiming to promote dialogue and collaboration for mutual benefit.
