Brussels, 10th October 2023 - Ambassador Atilio Berardi met with David McAllister, President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, in a meeting that served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen the ties between Argentina and the European Parliament.

 

During the meeting, views were exchanged on the bilateral relationship between Argentina and the European Union, as well as regional and global issues of relevance. The Ambassador emphasized the importance of maintaining ongoing dialogue between the Embassy and the Committee.

 

Ways to implement collaborative initiatives between Argentina and the European Parliament were also explored. This collaboration will provide the opportunity to open new avenues for cooperation in areas of shared interest, such as trade, the environment, and human rights.
