Brussels, 25th September 2023 - Argentina's Ambassador to the EU, Atilio Berardi, met today with the Ambassador of Canada to the European Union, Ailish Campbell, at the Canadian Mission to the EU.

 

The meeting reaffirmed the strong diplomatic relationship between Argentina and Canada, emphasizing the importance of bilateral cooperation on global and regional issues.

 

During the meeting, the ambassadors discussed various topics of common interest for both countries in the European context, emphasizing the need to strengthen coordinated and collaborative efforts in affinity groups where they coincide. They also emphasized the promotion of shared values between Argentina and Canada in global, regional, and European contexts.

 

Officials also highlighted the alignment of positions between Argentina and Canada on key global issues such as multilateralism, international trade, agricultural matters, among others.
