Brussels, 5th December 2023 - The Argentine Embassy to the European Union had the honor of inaugurating the photographic exhibition commemorating '40 Years of Democracy in Argentina,' with the valuable support of the European External Action Service. The event was attended by ambassadors, diplomats, authorities from the European External Action Service, the European Parliament, and the European Commission.

 

During the inauguration, Ambassador Atilio Berardi and Mr. Brian Glynn, Executive Director for the Americas of the European External Action Service, highlighted the significance of the celebration during those days and the crucial steps taken in democratic consolidation and human rights in Argentina. The coincidence in these values between Argentina and the European Union was emphasized.

 

The photographic exhibition displays representative moments of the recovery of democracy in Argentina and will be on display until the first week of January at the European External Action Service. This initiative aims to celebrate 40 years of democracy in Argentina and strengthen the cultural and historical ties between both regions.

 

The Argentine Embassy to the European Union expresses gratitude to all the institutions and individuals who made this commemorative exhibition possible.
