Marking the first interannual increase of Argentine exports to the EU since 2011 (7% compared to January-June 2015), Argentine exports (FOB) peaked to US $ 4.070 billion during the first semester. Imports from the European Union (CIF) reached US $ 4,604 million (-7%).
In the first half of 2016, bilateral trade between Argentina and the EU totalled US$ 8.764 billion, which means a slight decrease of 0.93% compared to the same period last year.
The trade balance narrowed by 50% compared to same period last year, closing at US$ 533 billion.
